Ron makes platter style pieces from 12" to 36" in diameter that use a multitude of turning techniques, colors, carvings and wood.  Most pieces are one piece of wood from a large tree, however, occasionally Ron will laminate wood together.  The laminated pieces will always be identified as such because Ron prefers to use solid, one piece blanks for his platter art.  Most platters are purchased for their visual appeal and in all cases are food safe if the buyer chooses to use for food applications.  Many new pieces are strictly artistic in nature.
