Bowls are fashioned from many types of wood, some domestic and some offshore.  Domestic wood for Ron's work is usually cherry, oak, maple, walnut and Norfolk Island Pine, only to mention a few.  Offshore woods are imported from Australia, New Zealand, Central Amercia, South America and Africa. These woods incude red mallee, mahogany, cocobolo, purpleheart, paduk, and other species too numerous to list.

Ron is most recognized for his large "square" bowls, as well as Norfolk Island Pine pieces.  Pieces shown are current and may or may not be available for purchase.  Custom orders are welcomed.
